What's New ✨ (1.1.8)

The things that have landed in ObsiKO lately

Back after a while? The app quietly grows, but if there's no way to see what changed you never find out it's there. This page collects recent additions, short and in the order you'd actually start using them.

🔎 Open it any time from the command palette (⌘P) by typing what's new.

🆘 Emergency guide

🕒 Before that

🎲 Random box

For when you can't decide, or your story needs a coin flip. Dice that actually tumble (d4–d20 plus custom faces) and a spinning wheel live in the right sidebar. Results drop straight in at the caret.

⌨️ Typing speed when a focus session ends

Focus Timer results now show something like 320 keystrokes/min · 9,600 total. It counts only real key presses — pastes and autocompletions don't count, and neither does anything typed while paused.

📄 Hangul (.hwpx) export got solid

Table alignment, column widths, and header shading carry over, and images mid-paragraph plus hand-drawn sketches now export as real pictures. → Export

📑 Tabs stay put on mobile

On narrow screens, dragging the tab bar no longer reorders anything — swipe to browse, tap to switch. Desktop keeps drag-to-reorder.

📄 Templates from anywhere

Right-click · command palette · /template in the body · sidebar + menu — the same list opens from all four. Start a new note from a template and save this note as a template are there too.

🗺️ Google Maps right inside a note

Put a Google Maps link alone on its own line and an interactive map appears there. Ask the AI for a travel route and it adds the map links for you.

🖌️ Drawings save exactly as drawn

Pencil grain, brush bleed and pressure all survive, and ink brightens itself in dark themes. You can lay ruled, grid, dot, or manuscript paper under a sketch. → Mind Map

🗂️ Shorter right-click menus for files and folders

Long menus are folded by kind, and Insert into current document lets you add a file without dragging.
