🆕 New in 1.4.1

📖 The dictionary, right where you write

  • Repeated words → similar words — the "'친구가' repeated 5 times" card in the Writing Helper's Tighten view has a new [Synonyms] button. It picks one of the repeats and opens the dictionary; tap a similar word and it goes in with the right form and particle (친구가 → 벗이). [Next spot] at the top moves on. → 16-12 Writing Helper
  • Plainer words — a 'Plainer words' group under spell-check results offers 359 words recommended by the Standard Korean Dictionary and the National Institute of Korean Language (오뎅 → 어묵, 레시피 → 조리법). They're suggestions, not errors; one tap replaces every use in the note, particles included. → 06 Korean Writing Tools
  • In my notes — the dictionary shows up to three sentences where you used the word (기쁘다 → 기뻤다, 기쁜…); tap one to jump there. In reading mode, hover over a word for a one-line meaning (turn it off in Settings ▸ Dictionary). → 06 Korean Writing Tools
  • AI uses the dictionary too — the desktop agent, chat AI (with note editing allowed) and external AI apps (MCP) can look words up in the ObsiKO Korean Dictionary, swap words in the right form and run spell check. → 16 AI Agent

✍️ Spell check that catches more and nags less

  • The checker catches far more — 좋았을텐데 → 좋았을 텐데 · 알아봐주세요 → 알아봐 주세요 · 일어 났다 → 일어났다 · 학생이였다 → 학생이었다 · phone typos (합니적인 → 합리적인). About 270 web-novel genre words (이동마법, 각성자, 회빙환) and foreign names and titles are no longer flagged.
  • Fixing items no longer reloads the list. Long stretches with no spaces fold into a short card with [Preview] and [Add spaces], and if a long stretch with no spaces kept the checker from reaching the end you'll see "Only part of this note was checked".
  • If a word is new and missing from the dictionary, use [Suggest as a new word] at the end of the flag chips — only the word and the rule it hit are sent, never your sentence. → 06 Korean Writing Tools
  • The Pre-publish check unifies mixed quotes (“ ” and " ") with [Unify to “ ”] and fixes flipped quotes (“예쁘죠?“) with [Fix direction]. → 18-1 E-book & Web Novel Viewer

🎨 Themes come alive — Ink Wash · Autumn Field · Ancient

  • Ink Wash brings rice-paper grain, bamboo shadows swaying in the wind and a seal-stamp bookmark that inks when on; Autumn Field brings maple-branch shadows, nodding rice stalks and a maple-leaf bookmark that turns red; Ancient brings weathered old paper, colonnade shadows and a leather-strap bookmark. Colors shift with the time of day, the line you're writing is never covered, and resizing the window no longer stutters. → 23 Settings & Themes

🤖 AI agent

  • Check unclear changes first — when you clearly asked ("make it a note"), changes are applied without pressing [Apply]. New notes made without being asked get a [Keep as notes] prompt. When Claude is overloaded (529), it retries on its own. → 16 AI Agent

🆕 New in 1.4.0 — celebrating 100 years of Hangul Day

🇰🇷 100 years of Hangul Day — the ObsiKO Korean Dictionary

This year's Hangul Day marks 100 years since it began as "Gagya Day" in 1926 — so 1.4.0's biggest gift is for the Korean language.

  • ObsiKO Korean Dictionary — the Dictionary panel shows definitions, examples, original forms (Hanja), pronunciation and related words from the National Institute of Korean Language's Standard Korean Dictionary and Urimalsaem, with no API key (web, desktop and phone). Look up an inflected form like '먹었다' and it finds the base form (먹다); words with older forms have [Word history], showing how they were written century by century. You no longer need Urimalsaem or Standard Korean Dictionary API keys. → 06 Korean Writing Tools
  • Similar words · Replace — similar words and opposites appear as chips (relations among about 370,000 words), and for a word you selected in a note, [Replace] at the top puts one in its place in the right form (기뻤다 → 즐거웠다). Words for actions also get mimetic and sound words (빙그레, 껄껄), and idioms & proverbs with the word come along. Tap ☆ next to a sense to add it to your Word collection and meet it again as a review card. → 06 Korean Writing Tools
  • My dictionary — names and words from your own writing appear at the top of the dictionary. Codex entries are included automatically; add other notes with right-click [Add to My dictionary] in the file list, and short words with [Add to My dictionary] next to a spell check result. Spell check skips them too. → 06 Korean Writing Tools
  • Search in files finds inflected forms too ('기쁘다' → 기뻤다, 기쁜, 기뻐서). For Korean, the Dashboard's word of the day becomes the Word time machine, showing how words used to be written, and Wordle and the crossword now connect to dictionary definitions. → 07 Search & Navigation · 15 Dashboard

✍️ ObsiKO spell check — our own Korean checker

  • With spell check on Auto, Korean text is checked by the ObsiKO spell-check server (web, desktop and phone). It asks once before sending, and sent text is never used for training or stored. Naver, Bareun Hangul and AI checks are still available. → 06 Korean Writing Tools
  • It catches spacing (할수 있다 → 할 수 있다, 갈거야 → 갈 거야, 청중의시선을 → 청중의 시선을, 수 많은 → 수많은), particles (책를 → 책을), keyboard typos (몰랏다 → 몰랐다) and spelling (햇갈린다 → 헷갈린다, 무릎쓰고 → 무릅쓰고) in one pass, and [Fix all certain ones] fixes the sure ones at once. Text with no spaces is opened up in one go; the desktop [Fix spacing] button has been replaced by this check.
  • Dialogue keeps the character's voice, and words that may be right in context or loanword spellings are only shown under 'Worth a look'. Character names and mimetic words are left alone.
  • Results also appear as underlines in the text (dotted for 'Worth a look') — tap to fix, ignore or Add to My dictionary right there. Ignored items are remembered per note.
  • Mixed but correct spacings get a Spacing consistency card, and in folders with three or more episodes [Check the whole work] gathers mistakes repeated across episodes for you to pick and fix. Korean suggestions from ✨ AI check are double-checked by the ObsiKO engine.
  • Tightening — the Writing Helper's Tighten view shows doubled passives (잊혀진 → 잊힌), translationese and redundant expressions with the fix. → 16-12 Writing Helper
  • Find & replace gains Fix Korean particles — rename 민준 to 철수 and 민준이 becomes 철수가, 민준아 becomes 철수야. → 07 Search & Navigation
  • 🇰🇷 Hangul Day 100th icon — a red-and-blue taegeuk-pattern icon (Settings ▸ Basics ▸ App icon). If you use ObsiKO in Korean, from October 1 to 15 iPhone and iPad offer it on a card, and on Mac and Windows the Dock / taskbar icon switches while the app is running. → 23 Settings & Themes

🎃 Halloween Special Update — Spooky theme · Monster draws

  • Spooky theme — pick Spooky in Settings ▸ Theme and blood-red headings glow softly on pitch black while mist drifts along the bottom. Cobwebs fill the corners, the bookmark becomes a spider hanging on a thread, and once every minute or two a pair of eyes in the dark blinks in the side margin and fades away. From midnight to 3 a.m. the darkness and mist grow thicker. The line you're typing is never covered, and turning on Reduce Motion on your device stops the movement. → 23 Settings & Themes
  • Monster draws — in [Person | Monster] on the Random Box Character tab, just pick a tradition (Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Western, fantasy, sci-fi) and a name like Name-Stealing Gumiho comes up on one card along with its lore, danger level, haunt, omens, weakness and story seed. 231 archetypes, more than 67,000 names, and no AI involved. Press [Create as note] and it goes into the Monsters tab of the Character Codex. → 18-4 Random Box
  • The ability score presets gained Monster / beast (Ferocity, Bulk, Regeneration…) and Yokai / uncanny (Spirit Power, Dread, Shapeshift…), so you can give the monster you drew ability scores too. → 18-2 Character Codex & References

✍️ Serialize a web novel from one work folder

  • New… 📁 ▸ New Project ▸ Web novel project — just type a title and a whole work folder (dashboard, story and eight lore folders) is set up at once. A manuscript you've kept in one file moves over with right-click in the file tree ▸ Split into episodes…. → 12-1 Project View
  • The outline's Episodes tab — episode list, status, release dates and length at a glance. Drag the handle to reorder, and [+ Write Episode N] makes the next-numbered episode right away; with two-level numbers like 1_2 or Part 1 Chapter 2, you choose [+ Write 1_3] or [+ Write 2_1]. Add an episode memo with [Memo+] (delete it with the trash button and you have 10 seconds to undo), then collect them into one note with [Gather into treatment]. The tab is always there, and it isn't only for web novels — notes that differ only by a number, like Post 1 and Post 2, open it too. → 09 Backlinks & Outline
  • Set your update days and it tells you the date your buffer will last until, and fills in release dates for buffer episodes that have none. An episode's release: date shows up on the calendar too. → 12-1 Project View · 13 Calendar

📏 Finished episodes, ready to post

  • The status bar's episode length chip (1,500 / 5,000 chars) counts the way a serial site does, and the author's note at the very end of the manuscript is left out of the length.
  • Copy for pasting in the story toolbar — choose Serial site, Manuscript or As is, and copy the title, body and author's note separately. Not a single character of the manuscript note changes.
  • The Pre-publish check (unclosed quotes, suspected name typos, blanks left unfilled) and Ready to continue (the last episode's final scene, summary and open setups) are in the toolbar too. → 18-1 E-book & Web Novel Viewer

📊 Status windows remembered · setups saved by the sentence

  • Living status windows — ObsiKO reads the [Name: …] [Level: 12] [STR: 47] you already write in your manuscript and puts ▲3 / ▼2 next to numbers that changed since the same character's last window. Type the name field of a new window, or /status on an empty line, and that character's last window comes back exactly as you wrote it.
  • Save as a setup — select a sentence in an episode and right-click (long-press on phones) ▸ Save as a setup…: it goes into the work's foreshadowing ledger, and clicking it in Ready to continue takes you back to that sentence. Open setups now carry reader time (18 ep. ago · readers saw it 23 days ago).
  • Mobile preview — the [Mobile preview] tab in the Reference panel shows the note you're writing on a phone screen (desktop and tablet, any note — not only web novels). The style defaults to Smartphone; pick Page in [Scroll | Page] to see the page your cursor is on. → 18-1 E-book & Web Novel Viewer

🗓️ Events in story-time order — Timeline tab · chronicle chart

  • The outline's Timeline tab lines up the work's Lore/Event notes by time inside the story. Write “When” freely (“3 years ago”, “1st year after the regression”) and set the order by dragging. Episodes that show an event later than its story time (flashbacks, regressions) get a ↩, and you can filter by character. Select text in a manuscript and right-click ▸ Add as an event… to create an event note without touching the manuscript.
  • Write - Era: Before the regression to group by era, and when “When” is written as numbers or dates, [Sort by written time] sorts them in one go (only within each era). The web novel dashboard's Timeline view shows who appears when in By character columns. → 09 Backlinks & Outline
  • Chronicle chart — write when | event | description one per line in a ```chronicle block and you get a museum-catalog-style vertical timeline (each era gets a colored rail and a first–last span). It works for history notes and your own life chronicle too; type /chronicle for an example. [Gather into a timeline note] draws with this chart as well. → 04 Advanced Markdown

⏱️ Your writing process as a timelapse

  • Writing log — how your manuscript grows is kept inside the vault keystroke by keystroke, and the clock button in the story toolbar shows your writing time, the days you wrote and where the current text came from (already there / typed / pasted) (Settings ▸ Saving ▸ Writing log; by default only web novel and book manuscripts).
  • The timelapse retypes it on the real editor screen, each Hangul syllable assembling just as it did. Pick the speed and screen ratio, and on desktop save it as a video. → 18-1 E-book & Web Novel Viewer

🎲 Random Box — dice tray · 3D dice · sound effects

  • Dice now roll across a green tray — grab and throw them by hand, and the longer you hold [Roll], the harder the throw. Every die rolls in 3D. There's also a [Story] die that shows pictures instead of numbers.
  • The Wheel got a makeover with a crisp 'tick' as it stops on the winner, and dice and the Wheel now have sound effects (turn them off with the speaker button). → 18-4 Random Box

🔮 Dashboard — Today's tarot, 78 cards · Color Fill puzzle

  • Today's tarot works without AI — draw from 78 fairy-tale illustrated cards and the card flips to show keywords, a writing prompt and something to try today right away; draw three for a Story spread, or Save as note. The AI reading stays on as 'Go deeper with AI'.
  • Color Fill puzzle — pick a color and tap a cell, and the whole connected patch of the same color changes at once. Make the whole board one color to finish, and do it within the shortest solution for ★3. The hidden cards list is now sorted by category, so things are easier to find. → 15 Dashboard

🪟 A vault name bar at the top of the desktop window

  • On Mac and Windows a vault name bar now runs across the very top of the window, and dragging anywhere on it moves the window. With several windows open you can tell which vault is which, and clicking the name opens Recent folders. → 02 A Tour of the Screen

🔧 Smaller things that came along in 1.4.0

  • 🔍 Pick an earlier version in Version history and it's compared with the current one (deleted lines in red, new lines in green). Open it with right-click ▸ 'Version history…' in the file tree, or '✓ Saved' in the status bar. → 26 Emergency Guide
  • 💡 Feature tips — as you write, a small card in the bottom right of the editor now and then points out a feature that fits (no more than once every 20 minutes; turn it off in Settings ▸ Basics). → 23 Settings & Themes

  • 🔢 The file tree, Bases tables and export sort numbers in names as numbers — Episode 1, Episode 2, Episode 10. → 19 Export

  • 🛟 Fixed knowledge pack installs and GitHub sync overwriting a note with the same name in another folder.

  • 📈 Charts got a refresh — a crisp palette that starts with the accent blue, bars rounded only at the value end, sans-serif axis and legend text, and small gaps between stacked-bar and treemap pieces. → 04 Advanced Markdown
  • 🧭 ‹ › next to the dictionary search box takes you back and forth through words you looked up. → 06 Korean Writing Tools
  • 🧬 See a random character's MBTI and Enneagram as charts, and insert a type with /mbti or /enneagram. → 18-4 Random Box
  • ⬆️ ↑↓ in to-do lists and quotes no longer jumps over the list to the top — it moves one line. In a narrow window the left sidebar opens even with the right panel open, and the '?' help in Settings sits right next to each setting's name.

🆕 New in 1.3.1

漢 Type in Hangul, press F9 for Hanja

  • Type a word and press F9 (on mobile, 漢 in the format toolbar; or select text, right-click and tap Hanja in the second icon row) and Hanja candidates appear next to the cursor. Even with a particle attached, like 학교에서, only 학교 is converted.
  • Choose how it goes in — 學校 · 學校(학교) · 학교(學校) — and even if you don't know the reading you can search by meaning (하늘 → 天). Select Hanja in your text and call it up to see the reading too (樂園 → 낙원).
  • The Dictionary panel has a new Hanja (Korean readings) section — search by reading, meaning or character to see the meaning and reading, radical and stroke count. The Hanja dictionary is built into the app, so it works offline. → 06 Korean Writing Tools

🇹🇼🇨🇳 Now in Chinese (Traditional & Simplified)

  • Pick 繁體中文 or 简体中文 under Language in Settings ▸ Basics and the menus, settings and hints switch to Chinese — and so do this help, Control Center, widgets and the share sheet. If your device language is Chinese, it starts that way.
  • Calendar weekdays and holidays, read-aloud voices and text recognition in photos (fast mode) follow Chinese too. Add tasks by voice or text and Siri & Shortcuts understand Chinese as well. → 23 Settings & Themes

📄 HWP documents exactly as the pages look

  • Open a .hwp or .hwpx in Reference View and it looks just as it does in Hangul — tables and pictures in place, line breaks and all. Zoom with the bar at the bottom and jump straight to a page number.
  • Tap 'Text only' at the top to pull out just the text, tables and pictures for easy reading; your choice is remembered. Distribution (copy-protected) documents can only be viewed — their text is not extracted. → 07 Search & Navigation

🔍 Full Search reaches the text inside documents

  • Full Search (⌘⇧F) now finds text not only in notes but inside PDF, Word, Excel, Hangul, PowerPoint, OpenOffice, e-book (.epub) and mail (.eml) files. PDF results carry the page, like p.3, and tapping one opens that page.
  • Search by meaning on phones and in the browser looks at document text too (scanned PDFs that are pictures rather than text can't be found). → 07 Search & Navigation

📋 Rich copy into Hangul and Word

  • Right-click the text (long-press on a phone) and Rich copy sits next to Copy. Paste into Hangul, Word or mail and you get heading sizes, bold, lists, tables and pictures instead of # and ** symbols. In a messenger it pastes as clean text with no symbols.
  • On Android, Hangul files (.hwp/.hwpx) you got through KakaoTalk or mail can also go into your vault with Share ▸ ObsiKO. → 19 Export

🇰🇷 Hangul and Word exports that behave like real documents

  • Equations go in as real Hangul/Word equation objects — double-click one and the equation editor opens. Footnotes become footnotes at the bottom of the page, diagrams and charts become pictures, and superscript, subscript and horizontal rules carry over. In Hangul even emoji go in as pictures.
  • You can combine several notes into one Hangul document (each note starts a new page, and footnote numbers run through the whole document). The "experimental" tag on Hangul export is gone.
  • Pictures in a note (![[photo.png]] · ![](assets/…)) show up in PDF, HTML, print and Word, at the size you wrote down. An HTML file carries its pictures inside it, so they still show when you send it by mail. → 19 Export

📤 Find files in the export window

  • Type a few letters in the search box above the file list and only the matches remain; you can also pick a sort order (folder, name, recently edited and more). Files you've picked move to the top. → 19 Export

📖 Five layouts in the e-book viewer

  • In the e-book viewer's settings (gear) ▸ Layout, choose Trade · Classic · Magazine · Pocket · Large print and the font, line spacing and margins change in one go. 'Classic' is a real book page with a large dropped first letter (drop cap) and chapter titles set low; 'Magazine' has two columns.
  • Your tweaks are remembered for each layout separately. The default, 'Trade', is exactly as before. → 18-1 E-book & Web Novel Viewer

✂️ A shorter right-click menu when text is selected

  • The menu is now three compact groups, so on an iPhone it fits on one screen without scrolling even with the keyboard up. Translate · Look Up · Hanja · Share are gathered in a second icon row right under the copy row.
  • In the phone and tablet apps, Share sends only the selected text (as it looks, without symbols). To share the whole note, long-press without selecting any text. → 03 Markdown Basics

🔧 Smaller things that came along in 1.3.1

  • ✨ Special characters you use often gather by themselves in the 'Frequently used' row at the top of Cheatsheet ▸ Symbols. Use [Pin] to keep them where they are. → 06 Korean Writing Tools
  • 💻 Code block line numbers — they look the same in the editor, exports, Reference View and presentations, and the numbers don't come along when you copy (you can turn them off in Settings ▸ Editor). → 04 Advanced Markdown
  • 📋 A table indented inside a list now shows properly under its item, and editing it no longer pushes it out of the list. → 04 Advanced Markdown
  • ⌨️ With a keyboard connected to an iPad or iPhone, typing right after pressing Enter to go from the title to the body no longer splits characters or drags the title's last character along. → 05 View Modes & Korean Input
  • 🖼️ On desktop you can put in a copied picture with right-click ▸ Paste (on an empty spot of a mind map too).
  • 🖥️ The desktop app got lighter — the Mac install went from 422MB to 312MB. The browser engine moved to a security-patched version and the diagram and equation engines to the latest (diagrams you've drawn look the same).
  • ⚡ Text and help for languages you don't use are no longer downloaded, so the app starts up lighter.
  • 📚 About a hundred wrong or missing explanations in this help were fixed and filled in to match the current app. The right-panel chapter that was called 'Activity Log' is now 21 Vault Log, matching its name on screen.

🆕 New in 1.3.0

🌐 Run it in the browser, nothing to install

  • Open obsiko.app and start right there (Chrome or Edge recommended). Your files still go into your own folder, and no account is needed.
  • For shared computers there's "Don't remember in this browser" next to the AI key field, and "App data in this browser ▸ Clear all" in Settings ▸ Dictionary, right under Dictionary cache (the notes in your vault folder stay). → 25 Platform Guide

🔄 The same vault on every device — cross-device sync (GitHub)

  • Settings ▸ Cross-device sync (desktop and mobile apps — not the browser version) keeps your vault in a private repository on your own GitHub account and matches it across devices. There is no ObsiKO server; the text lives only in your GitHub.
  • It syncs automatically when you open the vault, shortly after you save, and when you come back to the app. The refresh (↻) at the bottom of the sidebar is the same as "Sync now".
  • If both sides changed the same line, yours stays and theirs is kept beside it as a copy. If a sync would delete things it stops and asks first, and deletions only ever go to the trash. → 23 Settings & Themes
  • The share button in the tab bar (or ⌘P ▸ share to web) turns a note, mind map or data table into a single link. Whoever receives it reads it in a browser — no app, no account.
  • Exactly as it looks in the app — theme colours, callouts, highlights, tables and images. The text is uploaded to your own GitHub account (never stored on an ObsiKO server).
  • Edit and re-publish to the same link; stop any time with "Stop sharing". Readers can leave comments on the page. → 19 Export

✏️ AI shows you the change before making it

  • Select text, choose AI rewrite (polish, proofread, simplify, shorten, expand) and a card appears right under the selection showing exactly what changes, in colour. Nothing is replaced until you press [Apply].
  • The Claude · Codex · Gemini agents in the desktop app downloaded from the website (Claude · Codex on Windows) also work on a working copy of the note and show you a card of what would change. Only what you pick is applied, and a note you edited meanwhile is never overwritten.
  • The first time anything goes to an outside AI, you're told what is being sent where. → 16 AI Agent · 16-12 Writing Helper

🗺️ Map drawing gets an RPG illustration style — and every graphic redrawn

  • A new style, "RPG illustration" 🌿 — a soft, pixel-free game-art look. Instead of fencing each terrain with an outline, meadow, forest, hill, sand and shoreline flow into one another through curves and blended mid-tones, with no grid and no dark borders. It suits wide outdoor maps best. Pick it from ⚙ or the generator panel; existing maps change outfit instantly and nothing you drew is touched.
  • That makes four styles — parchment 📜 · grid paper 📘 · marker board 🖍️ · RPG illustration 🌿.
  • Every parchment graphic was redrawn too, in pen line and light wash, so it reads like ink on parchment — forests are overlapping canopies of different sizes, water is broken ripples, dunes and hills are asymmetric curves.
  • Mountain ranges now run across several cells. A tall asymmetric peak overlaps the ridges behind it, with low foothills in front, giving depth (instead of the same ∧ repeated in every square).
  • All 41 stamps were redrawn by the same hand — the station is a steam locomotive, the boss a dragon's profile, still readable at small sizes. Railways are drawn as sleepers, bridges get a deck and piers, and a river mouth widens and thins out toward the sea.
  • More to choose from — 20 terrains (swamp, wasteland, blighted land, sanctuary, urban and alpine are new), 5 path types (road, rail, river plus trail and dashed) and 41 stamps.
  • The terrain picker now shows the real pattern as a swatch instead of names only, and the toolbar button wears the pattern you picked.
  • Link a note to a stamp and the note title is written under it. Run a path across water and a bridge appears by itself. → 11-1 Map Drawing

🎛️ Control Center and widgets on iPhone and Mac

🎙️ Speak it, transcribe it, play it in place

  • Dictation on iPhone — words appear as you speak and the recognition happens on the device only. Record from Control Center or the lock screen and it is transcribed on-device into a new note when you stop.
  • Recordings with several speakers are split by who spoke — [0:06] **Speaker 2**: …. Tap a timestamp to jump back to that moment in the original (this applies to OpenAI-key transcription; on-device transcription has no speaker separation, and the picker tells you which does what).

🔍 "Hey Siri, open the meeting notes in ObsiKO"

  • Type a note title into iPhone search (Spotlight) and your ObsiKO notes come up — tapping one opens it even if the app was closed.
  • Say "add a to-do to ObsiKO" and several to-dos land in their own dated notes.

🌐 Right-click ▸ Translate — on device, no key

  • Select text, right-click ▸ Translate: a card shows the translation and language chips (한국어 · English · 日本語 · 中文) switch it instantly. Nothing is replaced until you press [Apply].

  • On an iPhone, iPad or Mac with Apple Intelligence on (iOS/macOS 26+), spell check, rewriting, writing review and transcript summaries run without any API key. Text never leaves the device, and because it is still experimental each such spot carries a "beta" badge.

🧜‍♀️ Crisper diagrams, and cards that become pictures

  • Mermaid pie slices, bars and mind-map branches were recoloured, and the 🔍 at the top right of a diagram or chart opens it full-screen to pan and zoom (pinch on a phone).

🧑 My helpers — a role you set once and call up

  • The helper (person icon) button in the AI panel's input row lets you pick a helper like "synopsis only" or "description only". Picking one opens a new chat that keeps that role until the chat ends.

🔔 A writing reminder at a time you choose

  • Settings ▸ Today's note ▸ Writing reminder: pick days and a time and you get a "time to write today's note" notification that opens the note. On a phone it fires even with the app closed.

🔒 Screen lock is now one screen

  • Creating a passcode, opening the app and turning the lock off all use the same full-size screen, like a phone lock screen. To create one you type it twice on that single screen.
