16-3 Writing & Composition ✍️
ObsiKO comes with six dedicated writing-stage assistants built in (no install needed). From a one-line idea to a finished draft, they help you build it up stage by stage.

How to call them
- Pick one with
/in the input box, or just ask in natural language ("polish this piece for me"). - The target is the note you currently have open. You can also append text after a command ("
/editthe next paragraph…") to work on just part of it.
The staged writing pipeline
You can build a piece from start to finish together. Feel free to use only the stages you need.
| Stage | Command | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| ① Foundation | /worldbuild |
For fiction, a world & character bible; for non-fiction, concept, positioning, and structure design (groundwork before writing) |
| ② Framework | /craft |
Designs structure, plot, argument, and point of view — diagnosis → design options (2–3 choices) → execution tips |
| ③ Draft | /draft |
Turns an idea or outline into a fast first draft ("done beats perfect," pushes through to the end without stalling) |
| ④ Prose | /compose |
Sharpens sentence-level expression (clarity, rhythm, vocabulary, pacing) — before → after with one-line reasoning |
| ⑤ Edit | /edit |
Edits with an editor's eye in three passes (structure → sentences → proofreading), with before/after examples plus the applied version |
| ⑥ Polish | /revise |
Conservative touch-ups right before export — (A) applied version / (B) checklist |
How to use each stage
/worldbuild— "Build a world and main-character bible for this novel. Focus on setups that generate conflict and theme." (For non-fiction: "First nail down this piece's audience, core message, and structure.")/craft— "Diagnose the structure of this draft and suggest 2–3 better structural options, with pros and cons for each."/draft— "Write a full first draft from this outline for ____ readers. Just flag anything you're unsure of and keep going — don't stop."/compose— "Trim the fat and sharpen this paragraph. Show before → after, and one line on why each change is better."/edit— "Start with a structural edit. Any big cuts or moves should be suggestions only, with reasons — apply once I agree."/revise— "This is about to be exported. Do a conservative pass for typos, awkward transitions, and repeated words only."
Tips for getting the most out of it
- Your voice stays yours: these assistants aim to make writing more accurate and natural, not more flashy — they preserve the original meaning and tone.
- Never stuck: a first draft flags unknown facts, quotes, or figures with
[[Needs check: …]]and keeps going to the end — just fill in those flags later and you're done! (For/worldbuild, undecided items are flagged as[[To decide: …]].) - Clean results: new pieces are saved as
.mdfiles with just a one-line summary; polishing passes are shown as before → after. - Stages are optional: you don't have to go through ①→⑥ in order. If you already have a draft, just use
/edit//revise; if you're stuck, start from/worldbuild//craft. - Command names adapt to the app's language (KO/EN/JA), and they're understood even if typed in another language. 😊
